While I'm not a musician myself, I'm very involved in several local bands in Chicago. Through this eclectic group of misanthropic minstrels I've had the great good fortune to meet tons of other local musicians.
These guys (and girls) are the regular mix of hopeful rock superstars, happy-go-lucky pluckers, misfits and maniacs. Usually all of the above all at once! I watch pour their hearts out onstage and try to do my part to immortalize their moments with my photography but I wanted to do more. That's where Ten Questions comes in.
This whole project satisfies two things. First, I get to ask the questions that most music interviews never touch on. Second, I get to give them a bit more attention. Who knows, if one of them really does make it big, I'll be sitting on one of their earliest interviews...
